Madden NFL 24 Ratings: 99 Club
The 99 Club reveal is one of the most exciting parts of the buildup to a new Madden every year. And the same in Madden 24. After all, one of the major aspects that fans look forward to each year is the ratings change, and seeing who's the best of the best is always interesting. So in this article, we will run over all the 99 OVR-rated players in Madden 24 below!
99 - Justin Jefferson – WR / Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is the first player inducted in this year's 99 Club. The 24-year-old has topped 1,400 receiving yards in all three of his NFL campaigns so far and set a career-best 1,809 yards off 128 receptions in 2022, including eight touchdowns. In addition, the 2020 first-round pick last week was awarded the 2023 ESPY for Best Play for his thrilling one-handed catch at Buffalo that converted a fourth-and-18.
In Madden 24, all of Jefferson's receiving attributes in the game score 97 or higher, with his 'Spectacular Catch' rating maxing out at 99. Jefferson's 'Stamina', 'Catching', 'Short Route Running' and 'Release' attributes all score one point less with 98. All these made him become one of the best in the game. If you spend some Madden 24 Coins to get him into your team in MUT Mode, the victory is already in your hands!
99 - Aaron Donald – DT / Los Angeles Rams
Make it seven straight years in the Madden 99 Club for Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald, which set a new Madden record, surpassing Peyton Manning's six. The three-time NFL defensive player of the year, Super Bowl Champion, 9-time pro bowler, and 7-time First-Team All-Pro can add another accomplishment to his list. So it comes as no surprise that Donald earns another 99 overall rating.
In Madden 24, Donald's 'Power Moves' and 'Play Recognition' also max out with 99 ratings, while 'Toughness' and 'Pursuit' ratings are one lower on 98. Also, he was the only player with a 'Strength' rating of 99.
99 - Zach Martin – G / Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys' Zack Martin becomes the first guard to enter the '99 Club' since another Cowboys star, Larry Allen, back in 2003. Martin has been one of the best at the position in all nine seasons in the NFL, following his first-round draft selection back in 2014. He has made the Pro Bowl each year with the exception of an injury-shortened 2020, has made six All-Pro first teams, and was named to the Hall of Fame's All-2010s Team. In 2022, he played all 17 regular season games and later received All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors.
In Madden 24, Martin is rated six points higher than any other right guard and 13 more than the third-best. Martin scores a 98 rating on both his 'Run Block' and 'Run Block Power' attributes, while his 'Strength' and 'Run Block Finesse' are one point lower on 97.
99 - Travis Kelce – TE / Kansas City Chiefs
Travis Kelce is another year older and wiser, but he's still the same elite tight end, welcoming him into Madden NFL 24's "99 Club" for the fourth time in his career. Kelce's latest appearance sets the record for most entries into the "99 Club" for a tight end in Madden history. He is the walking embodiment of consistency, recording 1,000-plus receiving yards in each of his last seven seasons. 2022 marked his fourth All-Pro selection and eight-straight Pro Bowl nod in his 10-year career, and at 33 years old, he isn't showing any signs of slowing down.
In Madden 24, each player has 53 attributes, and Kelce's 3280 points when combining each and every one of them is the highest in the game. His highest attributes are his 'Stamina' and 'Catching', both of which have a score of 97.
99 - Patrick Mahomes – QB / Kansas City Chiefs
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes makes Madden's '99 Club' for the third time. This means that the two-time league MVP, two-time Super Bowl champ, and two-time Super Bowl MVP will have a perfect 99 overall player rating to start the season. Mahomes will be the best quarterback in the video game when it launches next month, which is only fitting as he's the best quarterback in real life, too.
Mahomes boasts the best awareness rating 98 of any signal-caller in Madden 24, and his throw-power rating of 97 is second only to Allen 99, the game's cover athlete.
